Aeons ago there was a plan
That was when our God made man
Created him king over all in the land
Gave him his wife to start a clan
But then something went wron 'cos man messed up
All that the Lord had made for him
He shut his mind and opened his ears
When he forgot his creator and created sin
This new thing then came in
Popularly known as sin
Infamous though with God
It soon caught on with man
The end result of all this is misery
The end result of all this is pain
The end result of all this is separation
There's a price to be paid for this...
Because of man God's plan had to change
And he had the situation rightfully gauged
From Heaven above He saw a little manger
Where He thought He could send His little danger
This new one then stepped down
All the old fools thought He was a clown
Right away He had taken over the town
Made everything a real proper noun
He knew He had to die
For man must live to die
He knew He had to give
All He got at birth
The end result of all this is misery

There was a price that He paid for us...
Now we are living in a time of grace
Waiting for the day we will see His face
Thanking our Father and His Son up above
Wearing Him like a hand in a glove
He has achieved His purpose
He has fulfilled His plan
When He crushed the serpent's head
Gave him back word-for-word
